In my capacity as Controller and CFO for two different companies, I have worked with Atlantic Paper & Supply for more than 20 years. It has been my pleasure to work directly with the owner, David Spencer, for all those years. As they say, leadership starts at the top and David is a shining example of that.

When you work with David and his staff at Atlantic you immediately get a sense that they truly care about the well being and overall success of their customers. The “Atlantic Advantage” program is something that is not offered by any other vendors I do business with. Knowing that, whenever possible, Atlantic is going to pass on cost savings to me, gives me piece of mind.

I also benefit a great deal from Atlantic’s Managed Inventory program. It saves my staff a lot of time and it ensures that I won’t run out of needed supplies, while keeping my inventory levels within a desired range.

I am glad to have the opportunity to express how much I appreciate having Atlantic Paper as my supplier of pretty much all of my building maintenance supplies and shipping supplies. I can’t count the number of times that Atlantic has come through for us in a pinch. Too many times a custom box is required in bulk, and having a sales rep willing to run whatever we need out to us – and a skid if we need it to follow – delivered by their own trucks the next day is just one example of why I continue to choose Atlantic.

Being in the Atlantic Managed Inventory Program and having the flexibility to change my min/max on quantities means never actually having to order anything. I save so much time every week not needing to monitor my supplies, and that alone is one of the many benefits to doing business with Atlantic Paper.
 
With the saving of time being so apparent, it can be easy to overlook pricing.  But not when you are as peppered as I am with other vendors or suppliers looking for business. I give them less than five minutes to tell me their pricing on just a few staple items that we use, all with our logo printed on them. The meeting then ends. In 10 years, no other supplier has been able to beat Atlantic’s pricing, service, or the value it provides to our organization. Its customer service is exemplary and its proactive business practices and attitude sets Atlantic apart in the industry – one of the many reasons we enjoy and will continue to do business with Atlantic Paper.

My relationship with Atlantic Paper and David Spencer goes back about 15 years. At that time I was working in the shipping department of a religious articles manufacturer. David helped us not only keep our prices and inventory under control, but also helped us design several custom cartons. His ideas and custom designs greatly reduced the damage and return of a fragile item. Now, as an Operations Manager, I work closely with David to keep our supply costs down. While prices always go up, Atlantic Paper is one of the few places that prices will also go down. Add that to the excellent customer service, delivery, and on-line ordering and you have a winner every time. I look forward to many more years of being an Atlantic Paper customer.
